The temperature in East Anglia has made it impossible to do anything
At least bf has air conditioning in his car and allowed me to escape and talk to chickens. While he looked around Holt I went to the walled garden at Felbrigg. We were under costal cloud (and sea-fret on the coast) but still warm enough to be in shorts and sandals.

Chickens and a Parasol Mushroom
Went with garienos to Felbrigg House at the weekend. Their orchard has become home to waifs and strays including a flock of hens. Here is Mrs Hen (a Sussex I think) who has hatched a clutch of eggs and has lots of fluffy chicks. While I was in Lincolnshire visiting garienos' sister who has had her knee replaced we did a divert to visit the birthplace of Isaac Newton. Thought you'd like to see photos of the house, the famous apple tree and the extremely friendly house cat Coco who wanted to come home with me.
